At The Sweet Stories, we take pride in delivering freshly prepared sweets, namkeens, chaats, and festive delicacies. Since our products are perishable, we have a clear Return & Refund Policy to ensure fairness and customer satisfaction.

1. No Returns on Perishable Products

• Due to the nature of our products (freshly made food items), we do not
  accept returns once the order has been delivered.
• Customers are requested to check the order at the time of delivery.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued only in the following cases:

• You received the wrong item in your order.
• The product was damaged upon delivery (with valid proof such as
  photo/video at the time of delivery).
• The ordered item is unavailable/out of stock after payment.

3. Refund Process

• To request a refund, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with
  order details and proof (if applicable).
• Once your request is reviewed and approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.

4. Cancellations

• Orders can be cancelled before preparation begins.
• Once preparation is in progress, cancellations will not be accepted.
• For prepaid orders cancelled before processing, a full refund will be
  initiated.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in cases such as:

• Change of mind after delivery.
• Incorrect delivery address or recipient unavailable.
• Delay caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
• Products not consumed within the recommended shelf life.
